Unless you know the meanings of words like cacophony, phishing, and gyre, keep a dictionary near while reading this. I could grasp the idea of what most of them meant in context, but I still searched the definitions for the sake of clarity. While annotating my copy of this book, I came across over twenty unfamiliar vocabulary words, most of which were medical terms. The pages were oddly thick, and the inside of the dust jacket was glossy, so the tape I applied between the hardcover and the jacket didn’t stick, making the jacket slip while I read.
